Guarantee and Policies
Guarantee:
Live arrival is guaranteed. This guarantee is void if someone
is not home to sign for or recieve the package as was previously
arranged ahead of time.
In the unlikely event that your animal arrives dead (this
has never happened to us), please contact us immediately before
taking any actions. Please do not throw away the animal or
box as we will ask for proof by photos. If you do not contact
us within 24 hours and do not provide the necessary proof
and details, we will be unable to replace your order. A replacement
is at our discretion depending on the circumstances.
We “Pre-sell” a majority of our animals upon
hatching. This is mainly dictated by the high demand, quality,
price value, and reputation of our premium dragons. We even
have consumers willing to pre-buy “eggs” that
have not even hatched. We do not accept that business practice.
Once a Bearded Dragon is paid for it is now yours and you
own it.
We typically send out advance notice to our mailing list
customers first-Pre-selling. This practice enables us to offer
high quality Genetics/Bloodlines & Color at a more than
fair Market value. Pre-selling typically allows us to establish
lower prices on Premium Quality Dragons for those customers
that commit to obtaining a Dragon under our pre-sell policy.
Nevertheless this commits Sunshinedragons to the expense of
holding your dragon, raising it for up to 6-10 weeks before
shipping, which is typically longer & more expensive than
the majority of the industry. Although this raises our cost
of care, we are more concerned & comfortable with sending
you a healthier, better cared for dragon. Pre-selling offers
a higher priority pick based on when we receive payment in
comparison to other pre-sold dragons.
Be aware that by pre-selling Dragons we are able to offer
you a higher quality Dragon for less than the typical market
value. At times we even have special offers such as special
prices for pre-sold purchases. This policy may cause us to
turn away customers, or are not be able to offer other customers
priority if we have already accepted payment and pre sold
you a dragon.
Sexing: We
do our best to offer accurate sexing on all of our animals.
Although we have a great track record, sexing is not guaranteed.
Therefore refunds are offered
based on the following circumstances only:
We will refund money on Pre-sold dragons if notified within
5 days of receipt of payment. We will typically accommodate
refunds on pre-sold Dragons if we have sold out of that particular
clutch of Dragons including the pre-sold Dragon.
Deposits of 50% will hold a dragon, yet
you may not receive the same priority as a Pre-sold Dragon
purchaser may receive. Deposits are refundable under the same
guidelines as pre-sold dragons.
Parental consent is required
to sell to customers under the age of 18. We will communicate
with a minor however the purchase must be made by an adult.
We guarantee satisfaction and want you to be happy with
your purchase. If for any reason you are unsatisfied
with the animal when you first receive it, we ask that you
please contact us within 24 hours to discuss a return/ replacement.
You need to notify us for replacements on the basis
of satisfaction with a request within 24 hours of arrival
and the animal must be returned to us within 48 hours. We
do not cover shipping cost for this type of replacement.
We offer a health guarantee for up to 15 days.
The guarantee is valid if you notify us within 3-5 days of
any health concerns. You must follow the care instructions
on our carsheets to a reasonable degree. All replacements
are dependent on the animal being shipped back to us within
5 days or proper proof shown. Health replacements include
the animal and we cover shipping costs. Replacements are limited
to equal value of the purchase price.
We are unable to accept returns on animals that have been
in any contact with other reptiles. Your new pet should be
quarantined alone and away from any other reptiles you have.
This is dues to certain viruses and parasites other animals
could carry. Once you shipped the animal back to us could
infect our entire colony, and this is a risk we can not take.
If your reptile is kept with other dragons or other reptiles
any guarantee is void.
If returning an animal for satisfaction or a health problem
please make arrangements to do so quickly. This is critical
to the animal’s health. Shipping is stressful on any
animal and we want the dragon is a stable environment as soon
as possible.
Coloration:
Bearded dragon coloration may depend on a
variety of variables i.e. lighting provided, diet, age, stress,
etc. of your dragon. We prioritize based on your place in
the reservation line based on purchase. We look at the coloration
showing at the time of sale, but we also take into account
genetic potential, bloodlines, and personality of the genetics.
We do not inbreed or line breed to the best of our knowledge
on the information we have on each Breeder. Patterns and coloration
develop over time. As with any living animal brothers, sisters
may vary, which are not in our control. Parents, and past
history represents our best guess for color in the future
Health and information on
parasites and dragons*
Parasites are common in reptiles, and may levels may jump
during shipping and new environments due to stress. Often
a reptile can control and lower levels on their own through
with stress reduction, proper care, and environment. Its a
good idea to get a fecal check by a qualified reptile vet
within a month or so of owning your dragon. We suggest only
treating high loads of parasites. Low levels do not usually
harm the animal and the medicine can sometimes hurt them more.
If your animal is eating well and growing well it most likely
does not carry a high parasite load.
Customer Service:
We Pride Ourselves on the on Customer Support, & Health
of our animals! We attempt to go above and beyond for the
care of our breeders and hatchlings. We ask that if you notice
any problems with any of our animals, please contact us immediately
and as often as necessary. We believe strongly in good customer
service, We will be happy to help at any time with your animal.
We also provide detail care sheets on our web site to guide
you in the proper care of your animal. We feel that if you
follow the care instructed, your reptile should live a healthy,
happy life.
Reptiles may require a short period of time to adjust to new
surroundings. It is normal that it may initially affect their
behavior, eating etc. Our animals typically adjust easily,
yet we will be happy to talk you through this adjustment period
with any questions or concerns you may have.
Payment:
We take Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express,
Paypal, and money orders. We pre-sell our animals
therefore you should contact us to make sure what you may
want is still available.
We will only hold an animal for 24 hours without payment
or a deposit unless previous arrangements have been made.
If you are sending payment by mail, we need to receive it
within 4 days for us to hold the animal.
We do our best to offer a fair and reasonable Price Value
for Premium quality Bearded Dragons. At times we have promotions
that are often at special low market prices for our animals.
Bearded Dragon prices also range dependent on coloration,
size & genetics. Feel free to ask us for further explanation
in these cases. Quantity discounts may be possible.
